Going to take a cruise this spring break fairly soon and have narrowed it down to 2 ships. Which is in general better and or has the least amount of problems. They are both fairly older and I want to make sure that the ship doesn't have any major problems. Taking family with 2 teens have been on both carnival and royal. any help/ experience would be great

Defiantly rccl their ships are a lot better! All of you will have a great time! Carnival is way to dumpy in my opinion!

My friend went on Grandeur of the Seas and she said she was not impressed. Don't know much about Carnival Fascination. Go to cruisecritic.com it will give you reviews of cruisers who sailed on each ship. Bon Voyage.

i personally like royal caribbean better...their staff and service is better than carnival. If you are taking 2 teens, i think they would enjoy royal caribbean better (i'm 15).

Fascination was o.k. Went on it last April. It's not the best Carnivals ship. The lido night time entertainment was so lame.
