Do they do anything special for a birthday??

i am going on the carnival cruise fascination for my 16th birthday. i was wondering if they do anything special for your birthday??

Answer :
Carnival now charges for a birthday cake. The waiters will sing Happy Birthday to you during dinner.

Some other cruiselines do not charge for a little cake.

cruiselinefans.com and cruiseclues.com have good info about what's included or not in your fare

Answer :
Usually they present you with a birthday cake and the kitchen staff sings happy birthday to you. If there is a band they also announce your name and greeting you publicly..

For people who have been on a carnival cruise...?

im gonna be going on the ship "fascination" to the bahamas in a 2 months and i was wondering if theirs anything that i should know based on what you learned from being on a cruise (like any regrests).

thanks

Answer :
We have been on 4 cruises. 3 with Carnival, and the most recent one with Princess. We wanted to try out an alternate cruise line. I'll tell you what. We just booked our 5th, and it's back with Carnival. We have learned a few ropes after several cruises. Pack your first change of clothing in your carry on because it takes time for your luggage to be delivered to your stateroom. Before digging in at noon, walk around and look at all 6 chow lines. They're all different. One is called ethnic food of the day and changes daily. You can get items from several different lines. 16 oz aluminum Budweiser bottles can be purchased in 'buckets' and you save a little money. Don't try and skip out on the muster drill. They count passengers and check every cabin. Next time Cruising Do's & Dont's and Great Cruises with Samantha Brown are on The Travel Channel, watch them. Bring sun block, flip flops, over the counter meds, and wrist bands, (if you're the slightest bit concerned about motion sickness) with you from home. These items are available in the on board store, but expensive. Just a quick price comparison, Pringles are $3.50 a can on board. They are one dollar at home. Last but not least, for Heaven sake, set out your last change of clothing before setting your luggage outside your cabin door the final night. You wouldn't want to be one of those people mentioned at the debarkation talk who flys home in a bathrobe!!!
Bon Voyage!!!

Answer :
You don't have to stay in your assigned seats for dinner. Just find another couple or single and hook up with them at their table. OR eat at one of the many other places on the ship instead of the main dinning room.
If you are looking to enjoy yourself in the pool areas stay on-board while everyone else is on a tour or shopping.
The entire ship is yours take the first day you are cruising to get your bearings and locate things you are interested in. I went to an art auction. Didn't win any but had a great time. Dance even if you can't because you don't know any of these people anyway. Just enjoy yourself. RELAX>.

Answer :
I was on the fascination for my cruise and I had a blast. The boat was pretty easy to get around and to find things. My only suggestions are: 1. Remember formal wear for the captains ball, it only lasts an hour or so but drinks are free. Grab a hand full when you see the waitress the first time because it might be the only time you see her. 2. Try to sneak some booze on with you in a mouthwash bottle or something. After 4 days my bar tab was $450, but I was drunk about the whole time. 3. The nude deck only had one girl up there and she wasn't following the rules. You can just skip going up there.

Answer :
1. I brought a highlighter from home to mark all the activities I didn't want to miss on the daily capers. (there is so much to do each day that I was afraid I'd miss something)
2. If you are going on an excursion that involves water bring a disposable underwater camera. The ones they sell on the island are very expensive.
3. On the island if you need to take a taxi make sure you and the driver agree on a price before you get in the taxi.
4. Free drinks at the Captain's party and Free Champagne at the art auctions.
5. Bring an alarm clock
6. If you have an interior room you may want a flashlight or nightlight because it gets really dark.
7. You can use your cell phone but check with your provider first on charges.
Have a great trip!

Answer :
We took our first Carnival cruise 2 years ago to the Eastern Caribbean. It was the best vacation we ever had. It was nice not having to fix a bed or worry about making dinner...lol.

I also love the towel animals that were always on the bed when we returned from dinner.

For those that love to sail Carnival and sail often....?

I've done several Carnival cruises and am just about to go on the Carnival Glory. It will be my first time on a Conquest class ship (Glory Valor Liberty Freedom Conquest).

If you have been on that ship (or a sister)--what did you think of the layout of that class of ships as opposed to the Destiny or Triumph class? I am not a fan of those layouts. I think it's difficult to get around and the multi-tiered pool is difficult for waiters.

Or what did you think of the layout of the Glory compared to the Fantasy class (Elation, Ecstasy, Sensation, Fascination, Imagination, Inspiration, Paradise)?

So I need a multiple Carnival cruiser. Do you like Glory class more than Desiny/Triumph class? Like Glory more than Fantasy class?

Thanks!

Answer :
We have sailed the Carnival Conquest several times as well as the Carnival Ecstasy once.

The Conquest class ship at 110-tons provides a very smooth ride. I hardly feel any motion while sailing this ship.

All of the main entertainment is on Deck 5.

It is a bit challenging to get to the main dining room as you have to access from the floors above but no problem after you first visit.

The Conquest class dining rooms provide for spacious dining and many of the tables have views of the sea. It is large enough that the noise level is low.

The larger Conquest ship has many common areas and you can be at the party or in the quite, depending on your preference.

The best cabin floor is the Verandah (Deck 8) forward. A one flight of stairs up to the Lido deck. Plus no noise from the theater or casino on the 5th deck.

The Ecstasy was too small for my taste. Probably won't sail that class ship again.

Answer :
I have not been on the Conquest class but have been on the Spirit class which is very similar and after getting used to the different layout actaully loved it (ive been on the triumph, Victory, Legend, Pride, Elation, Imagiantion and Fasciantion (3X)...The Fantasy class is very similar to Triumph but you should love the Glory, Ive heard nothing but good about her, make sure you make reservation for the supper club, its worth every penny

Answer :
my personal favorite is the fantasy class. The conquest class is alot like the triumph but a bit larger My stateroom on the liberty was on the lido deck right next to the pool. Most of the important places are mid ship right next to the elevators so go for a midship stateroom.

Answer :
I sailed on the Carnival Valor in May out of N.Y.,and enjoyed alot.It was a nice someth sail.It still took some time to find things a son any ship but I got use to it.

Answer :
I have been on 8 Carnival ships and Conquest was (and is) by far my favorite.

The ship is HUGE, but easy to learn and get around.
We are sailing her again next June

Answer :
i've been on both Carnival Glory & Carnival Fantasy.
Uhmm. Glory was our Most Recent Cruise [June 21,2008] and Fantasy was the cruise we took before Glory. [December 16, 2006] We have also toooken Miracle.
Glory has a nice Layout and it very up-to-date.
It's Enviroment is Nice and Soothing.
The staff is friendly and the ship has nice calm places to be alone [at the end of deck 6 you can go out by the Bridge and lay out. Most private place on the ship, though theres the occasional Peeking eyes from the Bridge, a bunch of horny men. ha.] im fully in love with Glory and wouldn't mind going back on it something else. Though i cant say that about Fantasy. I loved Fantasy but however i wasnt as hooked to the Ships layout and the inside of the ship. it's a older ship, though it got the new pool update. I wasn't taken in as easy about its layout. Everything seemed SOOOO far away.
I'm 13 and i've so far been on three cruises. my mom and dad have been on about 6. As soon as i stepped off of glory i couldn't Help but ask something although i knew my mother might get mad. ha. i asked her when we were going on our next cruise. ha. kinda stupid of me. We might be going back on one in december of this year. Im totally siked and i hope to go on Triumpth it seems cool, though glory totally OWNS it. Totally go with Glory! it's Awesome and it's New, so to speak.
Go with Glory, you'll love it.
Go on one that goes to St.Thomas.
St.Thomas was TOTALLY Beautiful!
We stood outside thirty minutes before we were supposed to arrive just to watch us dock and come into the island. DEFFIANTLY watch the ship approach the island of St.Thomas! It's just such a beautiful Sight. it's Breathtaking!
If you go, go to Magens Bay BEACH! it's the Prettiest Beach there! No joke!

Have fun on your cruise!

Are Carnival Cruises Fun (teenager)?

I'm going on a carnival cruise this summer (on the Fascination) and I'm really excited but also kind of worried. I was reading about club O2 and I have a couple of questions;
1. Do they make you do activities? (if they start something and you don't like it, could you just walk out)
2. I'm really shy, is it easy to make friends on the cruise?
3. What are some good things to do? (I'm afraid that if I don't do O2 activities I'll get bored quickly)

Thanks for the help, and if you have any other tips please give them!

*I'll probably be going in late July and it's a cruise to the Bahamas

Answer :
I've been in Club 02 on the Fascination! I loved it. It's really cool and modern looking, perfect for the age group.

You aren't forced to do anything. You can come and go whenever you want (as long as they're open). You can also ditch the club if you aren't having fun there, and hang out with your friends somewhere else.

They treat you (or at least, they did for me) the appropriate way they should. They're not going to baby-sit you, but they'll make sure you don't cause too much trouble. Basically the director organizes activities and hangs out with you.

If everyone's doing Karaoke and you don't want to sing, you can sit and watch, or hang out with someone instead. Sometimes when they didn't have anything exciting going on, we would leave to go to play mini-golf or go to the buffets or shows or somthing.

It's very easy to make friends! I found Club 02 very useful for that. I'm shy too, so I didn't approach people around the ship, though you still can. I prefer having a lot of people my own age in one place so it's easier and less awkward.

I recommend that you join Club 02 on the first night. If you decide to join near the end, everyone else has already bonded and you're like the outsider. It's fun on the first night cuz everyone was getting to know each other.

Their activities are fun. When I went on the Fascination, there were probably only 10-20 people and we weren't really into dances, so the director let us play video games and other things instead. They also have a fun thing called "Battle of the Sexes" which is a whole bunch of competitions, boys vs girls. Another fun thing I loved was the gigantic water balloon fight we had! The Fascination has a big water balloon launcher on the pool deck and we had a great time. They will give you a list of activities and their times, but they won't stick to the schedule if nobody really wants to do them.

Besides Club 02, you can:
- hang out with people somewhere else
- eat! (buffets 24/7)
- shop (they have a bunch of little shops onboard)
- watch shows
- go in the pools/hot tubs
- have fun on their big waterslide
- play mini golf
- play ping pong
- play basketball
- go to the arcade (right beside Club 02)
- take lessons
- join contests
- join parties/activities all over the ship
- go to the spa
- work out at the gym
- jog on their jogging track

I loved exploring the ship. It's an older one but it's still big and beautiful! I especially loved the view we got at night. My friends and I went to the top deck at night and went to the very front (in front of the mini golf) and the view was so cool. Oh, but it's very windy at night! Even if you're in the Caribbean or Bahamas, it's really windy on the top deck at night.

Another tip - be careful with how much you spend! It's easy to get carried away because their system is cashless, and you use their Sail & Sign card like a debit or credit card. If you drink a lot of soda, be careful because they are very expensive when they all add up! If you're going to drink a lot, get a Fountain Fun Card. For a few dollars a day, you'll get unlimited fountain drinks. Normally each beverage is a few dollars.

Pack light. If you're in a regular stateroom, it will be very crowded. The cabins are tiny and you have no room for your stuff, so only bring what you really need. You won't be spending too much time in your room anyway.

Anyways, that's all I've got at the moment. Have fun on your cruise! =)

Answer :
1- No, your not forced to do anything.
2-Is easy to make friends at the Club 02 because its all kids around your age.
3-You can go in the pool, play basketball, mini-golf or take a jog. May want to see the shows at night, which are excellent.

Club O2 (ages 15-17)
From the moment they step onboard, Club O2 teens are part of a cruise experience unlike anything else. Every activity and event -- like basketball, volleyball, ping-pong, pool parties and high-energy dance parties -- has been specially created with 15-17 year-olds in mind.
Club O2 daytime activities are designed to be a little more relaxed. Teens can hang out with their friends while watching a movie, listening to the latest music, playing video games or joining karaoke jam sessions. Carnival has even set up teen-only shore excursions so young adults can enjoy the sites and sounds of beautiful ports with their peers.

Many Carnival ships feature a dedicated lounge designed just for the Club O2 program. These hot spots feature comfy seating, video monitors, a state-of-the-art dance floor and an area to enjoy Coca-Cola products and other non-alcoholic specialty drinks.

Club O2 Directors are hired and trained to spark the interest of the teens and get them involved. Each director brings their own unique style to Club O2. Their motivation and dedication to the program ensures every teen's cruise experience is unlike any they have ever had before. They are hosts, entertainers and often DJ's for the teens.

Activities for Club O2 may include:

Board Games
Card Games
Music Hangs
Theme parties
Lido Deck Activities
Reality Games Shows
Trivia and scavenger hunts
Pool Parties

Sounds like a fun cruise!

Hope I helped!

Answer :
When I was 17 I went on a cruise with my school, chaperones, many rules to follow, and my mother. It was STILL one of the best times I have had. There is plenty to do although there were a couple of times during the day that I got bored, but I would just find a lounge chair and stare off into the ocean and relax a bit. Also yes you can just walk out of activities. I did during line dancing. Won't try that again. I met quite a few cool people my own age and I was a shy person so if you're outgoing you should have no problem meeting people your own age.

Answer :
The first cruise I ever did was a carnival cruise and I was maybe 13 or 14. When we got on the boat my mom checked out the teen club on board but it wasn't something me or my sister were thrilled about, we found it more fun to walk the ship! I'm not saying that the club was boring it's just being on the cruise, my first time, was such a thrill for me that I wanted to see the people walking on board and be involved with them, see the sights, not be stuck in a particular section of the ship. You won't get bored on the ship trust me. You'll find stuff to do, the ship has activities that they tell you about each day so you can plan around that, but just being on the ship will be enough of a thrill to keep you entertained.

Have a great cruise! I know you're going to have a great time!

Carnival cruise employee contact information?

How do i get in touch with a Carnival cruise crew member?
Ship name Fascination
Sailed on may 22 2006...

Answer :
contact the main office for that cruise line with you can find online, carnival.com, but they are gonna make you have a VERY good reason that you need to contact the crew member, such as a family emergency. You could also try contacting an international operator and ask how to place a shore-to-ship call to that vessel, speak with Management and explain why you need to contact.

Answer :
i am wondering the same thing. i sailed on may 26th w/ fascination. please let me know if you have any luck contacting an employee...it is an emergency for me.

What is the best carnival ship to go on?

we are paliing on leaving in july to the bahamas...we have been on the fascination and it was a nice ship but i want to be on a better one

Answer :
Carnival Dream, it is their newest ship and is absolutely amazing. I am particularly not a fan of carnival, went on the dream and totally changed my thoughts about carnival. Longest waterslide at sea, biggest tv screen, etc. You should really look at it. Here is a video of the dream. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQf2OlLbzog

Answer :
My favorite is always Carnival liberty it is a perfect blend of modern amenities without having to share you ship with loads of people.

Does carnival cruise do anything special for you for your honeymoon?

i am going on the fascination on 1/15/09

Answer :
they sent a small bouquet of flowers to the room with a congratulations card..but it wasn't from the cruise ship it was from the travel agent..i'm so envious..i love our honeymoon cruise..your gonna have so much fun!!! congrats and good luck!!

Answer :
Nope, unless you are willing to shell out some money for their honeymoon extra packages :massages, flowers, chanpagne and chocolate covered strawberries etc.

Good luck

Answer :
Yes they do. You need to call them & tell them though. They usually do a cake or flowers. I've heard of different things.

Answer :
Many places do, with a copy of the license. The only thing is if your state has your SS# and/or mother's maiden name on the paperwork, take a big black marker to it. That's not information you want floating around out there.

Have you been on a carnival cruise?

This is what the FAQ's say about the dress code.

"Depending on the length of the cruise, either formal dress or casual resort wear is required in the Dining Room. The dress requirement for children is the same. For those not wanting to dress up, the Lido restaurants are open nightly (with the exception of the last evening of the cruise), and have a casual dress code. Formal Wear: tuxedo (optional); suit and tie; sport coat, tie and slacks; evening gown; cocktail dress; pantsuit Casual Resort Wear: sport shirts and slacks; dresses; skirts; pantsuit NOTE: Shorts, t-shirts and bathing attire are not permitted in the Dining Room during dinner. "

So should I buy a suit? This is a 4 day cruise on the Fascination cruise ship.

Answer :
i was just on the same ship. for formal night u dont need a suit just get a tie a dress shirt and pants... trust me there are people that dont dress up and if u dont they will still let u in the cocktail party and dinner trust me i saw people with cutoff shorts and a woman does not need a real fancy dress either. trust me you will enjoy seeing other peoples versions of dressed up.

Answer :
a suit is not neccesary but a nice sports jacket over a nice shirt is good
i have been on two carnival cruises and they do not really enforce the dress code rule although i do wish that they did, becausse it would be nice to have everyone follow the rules
i do when cruising and reccomend to do so

Answer :
A nice jacket and slacks and a tie will do and their will probably be one formal night and you dont even have to attend it if you dont want to but a nice dress shirt and slacks and a tie should do you fine and dont waste your money unless you plan on cruising again.

Answer :
Just go with a nice shirt/ tie and slacks ... sportscoat if you have one. The dining room meals are nice, but I honestly prefer just hitting the buffets or sushi bars. Do the dining room on lobster tail night.. you can have as many as you want. don't forget your flask.

Answer :
I have been on two. The first time was a 3 day, and I did not take a suit. On formal night I just wore slacks and a button down shirt. The second was a five day, and I took a brown suit and matching tie. My wife wore an upscale dress.

We saw many people on formal night that did not "dress" for the occasion, and many that did. It is entirely up to you. Be advised that they are serious about the no shorts. I have seen the matre d' on both cruises refuse admittance to people who were not dressed appropriately.

Answer :
I was going to go on a Carnival Cruise, but when the Cruise ship pulled to the doc 1.4 Million Clowns poured out and I got Intimidated.

Men will wear a suit, tux, dress pants, shirt, tie and jacket. If you don't want to go buy something you can rent a tux on board. On a 4 day cruise you will only have 1 dress night.

Answer :
yeah you should. The dining room is formal and you won't see anyone that isn't dressed up. Even the waiters are dressed formally. It really is nice kind of like a five star restaurant in my opinion

Answer :
I just went on my first carnival cruise (Elation)in Februaury and loved it. People were dressed in anything and everything at dinner. Everything from casual (polo shirt and khakis) to very formal wear is fine. Don't overpack! I made that mistake and didn't wear half the things I packed. Have a great time and enjoy yourself!

Answer :
Yes, if you plan on eating in the main dining room. In addition they are always snapping photos so when you are at the formal dinners it looks better - they also display the photos for EVERYONE to see.

Carnival Cruise????

Hey guys,

my family is palnning to go on a 4 night/5 day vacation on the Carnival Cruise Fascination. But i've read alot of rip off reports about the Carnival Company. Our port of call is Miami to Key West to Cuzumel Mexico then back. If you have gone on this same type of vacation, did the boat """"acidently"" take u to Depresso or ssoemthing like that in Mexico instead due to """"Engine Trouble"""""??

Also how was your cruise?

Goods??? Cons????
If you have a teenager or are a teenager (me!!!) did they enjoy the cruise?? how bout the kids???

thanks!, these companies are leaving me curious so im sorry for asking so much

Answer :
We cruise on Carnival with our teen and 'tween.

We have only been re-routed once to Progresso and it was due to a hurricane. Yes, Progresso is a developing city so it is a bit unpolished but we had a good time shopping in the open air market and the beach is OK.

My kids love the 24x7 pizza. My teen even eats it for breakfast.

The kids love the teen parties at the disco, the arcade and running around with vacation friends. Be sure to sign up for the kids club when you arrive. They will give you the scoop on when/where of the teen events.

Recommendation for traveling with teens....get a set of the 2-way radios to keep in touch while on board. This gives the teens freedom to enjoy their vacation and gives the parents peace of mind. No missed check-ins or waiting around for someone. You can find them at Radio Shack, Wal-Mart, Target.

Don't separate while in port. Stay with your parents/group.

Answer :
I went on my first Carnival cruise this past year and I loved it! I was on Elation and we went to the Bahamas. The only complaint I had about it was the last day when you are leaving the boat, it gets really hectic and it was very unorganized. But the cruise itself was very fun. They had a teen dance club, a piano bar, tons of shows, a pool with a huge slide...there is so much to do, I'm jealous that you get to go! :) We went for my younger brothers high school spring break, and he and all his friends loved it. Have fun!!!

Answer :
I have been on Fascination twice, although both trips were to the Bahamas, and on the Elation traveling to Key West and Cozumel. I have never had any issues with Carnival rerouting but would assume if they did it was a legitimate reason. I have taken my teens on a few cruises and they have an awesome time. If you have any questions you can always check out cruisecritic.com, its a website for people who cruise, alot....lol and you can probably have every question you can think of answered there.

Answer :
Hi,
The Fascination is a good ship and you should enjoy it as a teen. In the cruise contracts for all cruise lines, they do put in a clause stating that they can substitue ports for whatever reason. It's not just Carnival. My best advice would be to check out cruisecritic.com and read the message boards. Usually if there is a ship that is chronically changing it's ports such as the NCL Dream was last year, you will be able to get alot of info from the message boards. Most of these routes are long term routes and are repeated weekly so the cruise lines really try not to change them unless it is unavoidable and even with 'engine problems' coz is close enought so that you probably wouldn't get diverted.

Answer :
i went on the same cruise but we went 2 costa maya instead of key west and our cruise was amazing it was so fun and they have night clubs 4 teenagers so its very fun!!!!!!!

Answer :
Well,we went on a Carnival cruise recently. That was a different route though. It was from NY city to Canada.
I don't think there was anything like rip off.Infact, they have the best deals. All meals included.Services like baby sitting, spa are quite reasonable.
They have good shopping too,Except jewellery.BE CAREFUL NOT TO BUY JEWELLERY AT THEIR DUTY FREE SHOPS.
I bought a gold bracelet which they marketed as gold and after returning,I found out that it was just gold plated.I paid a good amount for a nice looking ring and it rusted within a month.
Apart from shopping, they will also have your pictures taken & try to sell you(optional).Don't buy them. They are not worth the money.
I have to say , cruise was not great for teenagers.90% of the passengers were senior citizens. But that's ok too.
And lastly the tips, you must clarify that from your travel agent before you sail.
So good luck & Enjoy your trip!

Answer :
Normally, IF a cruise line changes course it's for a good reason such as severe weather or potential for it (hurricane) or damage to a port due to weather. We originally booked Key West, Cozumel, Bellize and Nassau Bahamas. Due to hurricane damage the previous season they dropped Cozumel and added Costa Maya...closer to the cruise the port in Cozumel reopened and they added Cozumel back, but dropped Key West. We ended up with Cozumel, Costa Maya, Belize and Nassau...none of which I could drive to if I wanted (Key West I can) was I upset? Heck no we had an awesome time. Cruise lines don't make money by cutting corners or "ripping people off," they make money by keeping you happy. Therefore, I feel pretty comfortable saying IF the itinerary changes it's usually for a valid reason and they do try to compensate for it.

Can i book my return flight at 12:30pm or is that too early?

i am taking a cruise on jan. 15th 2009 on the carnival fascination for our honeymoon. our ship returns monday the 19th at 8 am in jacksonville florida. will a 12:30 PM flight be too early? is there a chance we could miss this flight? this is our first cruise. thanks in advance.

**also our flight gets in at 1130 am on the 15th is that early enough to beat the crowds getting on the ship? thanks!

Answer :
The 11:30 arrival should be fine. I'd have a late afternoon flight out of there though. The ship docks at 8 am, but you won't get off the ship then. They empty the ship by decks and you might have to wait awhile. Plus, you'll probably go through customs, and you never know how long that will take. Then catching a taxi or bus. And getting to the airport and checking your luggage.

However, if you reserve the flight with the cruise, they will give you options and be able to get your luggage to the airport for you. That would save time, but it's usually more expensive.

I'd give myself some more time if booking it myself. You can always go to the airport for lunch, and have a chance to not be rushed in case there is a problem. Congratulations and best wishes, by the way!

Answer :
Not sure about the cruise thing, but I've flown in and out of Jacksonville several times, and b/c it's a small airport, it's a breeze to get through check-in and security. Though things can happen, I'm usually through security and to my gate in :15-:20 minutes. It's a nice quaint airport. I'm not sure where the port is located, but the airport is on the north side of Jacksonville, north of 295 - about 10-15 miles from coast. Hopes this helps relieve some of the pre-wedding planning stress.

Answer :
Depends on how far the port is away from the airport. Also that is assuming the cruise is right on time. Generally you should check into the airport about an hour before your flight, so you want to get there at 11:30- That leaves three and a half hours. I think it should be okay, unless the airport is ridiculously far!

As far as the flight getting in at 11:30, you didn't tell us what time the ship leaves so I can't really answer the question...

Good luck!

Answer :
Hi and congratulations!

I just returned from a cruise in July, so here is my advice:

~ Yes, a 12:30 flight should be good. Really, you have a "staggered" list of who gets off the ship at various times, but you can get off at any time after it docks (so, say about 9 a.m.). Then, you need to get your luggage, get to the airport, etc., etc.

~ The 11:30 a.m. is good getting into Jacksonville, but you will need to check with the cruise line as to when you can actually board. We were on Royal Caribbean and we could not board until 1 p.m. We ended up getting on at 2 p.m., but we were certainly NOT the first person(s) to board.

YES, I think the times getting in and departing will be very good for you.

Make sure to tell them you are on your honeymoon. Or, tell your travel agent if you worked with one. You may get a little "perk" like a free bottle of champagne or something.

Have fun! I just LOVE cruises!!

Answer :
i just went on a cruise last week! you can book a 12:30pm flight, that is plenty of time. any passengers who have a flight that day are let off of the ship first. you can get off the ship as early as 6:30am if you need to.
and as far as your flight coming in at 11:30am - that's a perfect time. we got on our ship right around noon. there were other people waiting in line with us, but it got way more crowded later. i think 1130am is early enoguh to beat the crowd for sure.
